Mechanical Devices develops, produces, and provides innovative cost-effective thermal control units to major semiconductor device manufacturers for testing IC devices. Among them, Max TC is widely used in the field of chip reliability testing, including but not limited to material characteristic analysis, temperature cycling testing, rapid temperature change testing, temperature shock testing, and failure analysis and other reliability tests. It is particularly suitable for performance testing of chips in high, low, or high/low temperature environments to ensure the stability and reliability of chips under various harsh conditions.
The temperature instability during Max TC testing may be caused by various factors, mainly due to the following reasons:
1. Equipment related issues
Unstable power supply: Fluctuations in power supply voltage may cause unstable temperature control inside the device.
Sensor malfunction: The temperature sensor is damaged or its accuracy has decreased, making it unable to accurately reflect the actual temperature of the test head.
Control system issue: Control system malfunction or improper parameter settings leading to unstable temperature control.
2. Test environment interference
External temperature fluctuations: Fluctuations in the testing environment temperature may affect the temperature stability of the equipment.
Poor air circulation: Poor air circulation around the testing equipment may lead to uneven temperature distribution.
Electromagnetic interference: Electromagnetic interference may affect the temperature control accuracy of equipment.
3. Sample testing issues:
Poor contact between sample and test head: Poor contact between sample and test head may result in poor heat transfer, thereby affecting temperature stability.
Sample self thermal effect: The sample may generate heat during the testing process, leading to an increase in the temperature of the testing head.
After inspection by our engineers, we found that it was caused by poor contact of the temperature sensor, and we also found that there was air leakage in the cylinder cold head during operation. By replacing the damaged temperature sensor and calibrating the sensor to improve accuracy, the unstable temperature during Max tc testing has been repaired.
Our professional team has decades of industry experience and has been working closely with well-known domestic enterprises for a long time. We provide quick support for Max TC contact type high and low temperature impact machine equipment failures nationwide, and can provide high standard repair, maintenance, and renovation (reconstruction) services in our factory.
Our professional knowledge and experience mean that we can provide comprehensive advice and support for the application and maintenance of most contact type high and low temperature impact machines in a professional manner. By designing and modifying the system (customized or configured according to the on-site environment), we can provide a complete system solution.
